Anthony Gaines celebrates an emphatic dunk during the Wildcats’ exhibition opener in the debut of the new Welsh-Ryan Arena. The Northwestern facility received $110 million in upgrades. Additions include new seating with chair-backs, new and expanded restrooms, concession areas with twice as many point-of-sale stations and new locker rooms for men’s and women’s basketball and women’s volleyball.
