American Horror Story premiered on FX in 2011 and quickly skyrocketed to critical acclaim, revitalizing the horror genre in television. Across its ongoing anthology run, the show has picked up numerous award nominations and received 17 Emmy Awards. Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk — who also co-created the cultural phenomenon series Glee with Ian Brennan — the American Horror Story series features star-studded casts and standout performances from series veterans like Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters. The show also boasts a long line of Northwestern alumni in fan-favorite roles. The 13th season premieres Sept. 24 on FX and Hulu.
