The Graduate, 1967 This groundbreaking rom-com featured William Daniels ’50 as the father of protagonist Benjamin Braddock, played by Dustin Hoffman. Planet of the Apes, 1968 Astronaut George Taylor, played by Charlton Heston ’45, encountered a species of intelligent apes when he traveled to a mysterious planet in this sci-fi thriller.
